I have been moving up the scale of Honda motorcycles learning everything I can about the nuances of repair, troubleshooting, restoring and customizing.
For those of you that have followed my other blogs on motorcycles will know of my passion for old motorcycles and have seen the progress of several other smaller Hondas.

One of the reasons I have chosen Honda is that there inexpensive to buy and parts are available for early models.

After the CA series (Dream) the upright twins where what I had my sights set on. It took some time to find one I thought would be a good one to learn on, I ended up with a 1969 CB350. This bike was only about 70% complete but the price was right at $150!

Just a few days after I bought the CB I found a CM450 title, tagged with a california classic blue plate and running for $600. Now I am thinking I will do the CB in cafe style and the CM maybe a brat.

more to come!
